George William Brown passed away on July 14, 2025. He had a long contented life at 92 years of age. He was born in St. Louis on Aug 20 1932, the son of Ralph and Enid Brown. He is survived by his sisters Jacqueline and Judith and his brother David, as well as Annabelle the wife of his deceased brother Jerry Brown. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting, and hanging out with friends at the VFW. He had a long career in aerospace fabrication and he was proud to have worked on building the Apollo Command and Service module for North American Aviation. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 10:00-11:45AM at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Maplewood and funeral services will begin at 11:45. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
