Gail Davis, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her, was called home to get her next assignment directly from God on August 19, 2026 at the age of 76.

She married her devoted and loving husband, Roger, in 1972, and they raised two children together.

Gail accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of The United Methodist Church where she served as an Ordained Deaconess and youth ministry leader. Her faith was not just something she practiced on Sundays - it was the foundation of her entire life. In her early career she developed Biblical Dramas -Women of the Bible storytelling performances.

Gail served at Feed My People Food Pantry as a Grant Coordinator for 22 years.

She is survived by her husband, sister, brother, daughter, son, and five grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, August 23, from 6 - 8 p.m. The celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 24, at 10 a.m. at Fenton United Methodist Church, 800 Gravois Rd., Fenton, MO. Internment will be at Cape Memorial Cemetery, at 2 p.m. in Cape Girardeau, MO.

The family asks that you honor her memory by donating to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in lieu of flowers.
