Frederick Clemens Laufketter IV "Rick". Born on May 18, 1964. Preceded in death by his twin sister, Angela Lane, his father, Frederick Clemens Laufketter III (Buddy) and his grandparents, Faye and Frederick Clemens Laufketter Jr. and George and Mae Perry. He is survived by his mother, Merrilee (Ronnie) Reed; daughters Lauren and Madison Laufketter, sons Logan Laufketter and Austin Susic. Sisters Perri (Greg) Doell, Kristan (Steve) Portell. Brothers Jimmy, Matthew (Cathie) and Michael Laufketter and Eugene (Chris) Niethe. Granddaughters Jaelynn and Briah. Friends like family, Toni & Sam Greer. Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Rick was the second child of six. He was self-employed and did residential contracting work. He could rebuild any worn-out property from floor to ceiling to make it into a home. His talent in ceramic tile & hardwood flooring was impeccable. He liked to fish and go to turkey shoots at the VFW. He was deeply devoted to his family. To his children he taught the ways of life and the true meaning of unconditional love. He was raising his granddaughters as his own. He was stubborn and passed this trait onto all of them. He was always there when you needed him & would give you the shirt off his back. He not only taught his kids about kindness to others, he lived it too. Rick had a sense of humor that could keep you laughing until your cheeks hurt and if you put him and his brothers together, the stories could go on for hours, as they did many times. To his sisters he was always protective and being the oldest brother, he had no problems 'schooling' the younger ones from time to time. He is forever in the hearts and memories of all of us.
