Francis (Frank) Awalt of Fenton Mo, age 82 passed away on April 21st, 2026.

Frank was born in Magdalena NM to parents Eduvigen Romero & Eddie Awalt, Frank had one brother David Awalt. Frank proudly served in the military where he met his beautiful wife in England. Ivy passed away in 2017. Frank was a member of the carpenters' union where he received his 60-year pin, he was very proud and honored and cared so much for the lifelong friends he made. Frank started at a very young age listening & collecting music; he really enjoyed his blues and jazz. The last couple of years of Franks life, he met a beautiful woman named Mary Jane who gave him a real will to live and he always said, he didn't know why he was so blessed. Frank leaves behind nephews and nieces whom he cherished along with many cousins. When people mention Frank, they will tell you he was a mentor to many people and a stand-up stellar man. He will be missed by so many peoples who lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his mother & big brother and niece. Frank is now in heaven, with all his family, aunts and uncles making chili & beans with tortillas listening to blues. He would not want us to cry; he would want us to listen to the wind and know he always be with us.
