Esther Titika Tudo passed away August 8th, 2016 at the age of 11 after an 18-month fight against bone cancer. She was born in Kenya and traveled to the United States twice to receive treatment. She received successful radiation treatment for neuroblastoma in November 2009, and she returned home in August 2010. In January 2015 Esther was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. She arrived in Saint Louis in June 2015 to start her journey toward treatment again. Get the Word Out, INC. is a non-profit organization that worked to bring Esther to Saint Louis both times. Here is a link to the organization's website: gtwomissions.org The organization is raising funds to pay for funeral expenses. So many people did so much to show Esther how much she was loved and cared for. We are extremely grateful for the love and support that has been shown ever since Esther first arrived in November 2009, and then again on her second trip the past 14 months. Funeral services will be held this Saturday, August 13th, 2016. Thank you for taking the time to hear Esther's story. Any donations are greatly appreciated. We have set up a GoFundMe account. There will be a luncheon at the Rock Church of St. Louis immediately following the funeral service. Following the luncheon, services will conclude at Sunset Memorial Park. All are invited to attend in celebrating Esther's journey and life.
