Obituary

Eldon Michael Beckham was a believer and baptized in the hope of Christ's resurrection. Eldon Michael Beckham, 29 passed away on, Wednesday, November 24, 2021; Dear son of Rex and Patricia Beckham; Loving brother of Marcia Rausch (Jon), Rebecca Buttrey (Ryan), Cy Beckham (Anastasia), Brad Beckham (Gabrielle) and Pat Beckham (Megan); Eldon is a brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend; Eldon was a gifted athlete in high school in both basketball and soccer. He set the school record for steals his senior year while scoring 15 points per game for Rockwood Summit. He was co-captain of both teams. He joined the Marines after high school and served honorably for four years attaining the rank of Corporal. He was an artilleryman but was cross trained in military police. He was stationed in Twenty-nine Palms, California and served in Okinawa, Japan and Bahrain. He trained in martial arts. He loved working out. Eldon consistently led his command in physical fitness scores. After discharge from the Marines Eldon worked as a union carpenter. He was an avid Cardinals and Blues fan. He loved hunting and fishing with his brothers. He loved his country, his family and especially his nieces and nephews. Smith Funeral Home Fenton Chapel 777 Oakwood Dr 63026 Visitation: Friday, December 3, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. with full military honors
