Edward C. Fick was born to Edward A. and Elsie (nee Essen) Fick in Chesterfield. He was raised in Chesterfield and he graduated from Eureka High School where he worked on the family farm. He then went to work for the railroad. During this time, he met his future wife Velma Zelsman. Edward and Velma were married on June 10, 1956. They had two children, Carolyn and Randall. Edward eventually retired from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad having worked for railroads his entire career. He enjoyed walking in the park and visiting his children. He always enjoyed his church family and visiting friends. He is survived by his wife, Velma of 61 years. His children, Carolyn Lefler and Randall (Christine) Fick. His grandchildren Lauren, Jennifer and Ryan. In Lieu of flowers donations to Our Savoir Lutheran Church (Fenton) appreciated.
