Loving father of Michael Cook of South Carolina, Steven Cook of California, Mark Cook of California, and stepfather of Eddie Hendrix of St. Charles, Mo.

Cherished brother of Frank (Diane) Cook, and Margaret Cook, and brother-in-law of Doug (Pat) Carr.

Proud Grandfather of 5 and Great-Grandfather of 5.

Dear uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Following graduation from St. Mary's High School, Ed served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. He returned to Missouri to complete 34 years working for SWBell and AT&T. He retired then spent 9 years with Sue being full-time Rvers and "living in" 48 states along with parts of Canada and Mexico, and cruising Alaska. Ed and Sue then returned to Missouri and bought their home in Arnold. Still unable to satisfy their wanderlust, they flew across the Pond where they visited with friends in London, took a whirlwind trip to Paris, and a Mediterranean Cruise touring Spain, Portugal, Rome, and Gibraltar. Subsequent years involved vacations to California to visit kids and grandkids, or the mountains or the seashore.

"Celebration of Life" will be held Friday February 6. 2026 6:00PM at Jay B Smith Fenton Chapel 777 Oakwood Dr.
