Earl Lee Thomas has passed from this life into the arms of our Heavenly Father during the early morning hours on February 6, 2019. He was the cherished son of Joyce and the late Paul Thomas. Dearest and loving husband to Lorraine Thomas nee Miraglia, Father to the late Paul Alexander Thomas, Loving brother to Paula (Ernie) Storz, John Paul (Dana)Thomas Loving Uncle to Melissa (Kevin) Lampe , and Sarah (Aaron) Jinkerson; loving Great Uncle to Natalie and Justin Lampe, looking forward to being great uncle to baby Jinkerson. Dear brother- in- law to Alexander Miraglia. He loved his God daughter, Elizabeth Huff. Earl loved his two cats Sammy and Daisey and his late kitty Maxine…. After serving in the United States Marine Corps as an LCPL in the 2cd Recon Battalion (1980) he worked for the USPS for 33years and missed his work family dearly after retiring. He loved his friends from the late Paul's Maple Leaf Inn, He loved his friends and family from MRH Senior High School and the class of '77 where he was an avid athlete, star football player and star wrestler. He enjoyed writing poems and songs, especially for dear family members and dear friends. For many years Earl donated to many causes…two that were the dearest to his heart were Paralyzed Veterans of America, and Saint Jude's Children Foundation, to which he kept a photo album of the pictures of children they would send to him each month, he would kiss their pictures, say a prayer and add it to the photo album. With that being said, if compelled, donations may be sent to either cause in lieu of flowers. At Earls request their will be a private ceremony at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
