Obituary

Duncan G. Wilson, 78, went with the angels on Saturday, June 13, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Rose Pearl Wilson (nee Quick). Loving father of Benjamin Dale (Kimberly) Callahan, Teresa Ann (John) Meade. Cherished grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 16. Dear brother of the late Ian Wilson. Our dear father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. Duncan loved music and teaching it. It was the joy of music that brought him and his beloved Rose together. He appreciated all types of music, but his favorite was jazz. He served in the armed services in the United States Air force during the Vietnam War. Duncan was also an avid sports fan. He enjoyed football but especially loved the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. "Pearl" and Duncan were long time and active members of the Apostolic Faith Pentecostal Church. Above everything else he was considered as a deep-rooted Christian. If your heart was ever troubled, he would put you on his prayer list. This was an actual written list that he kept with him. Duncan and "Pearl" loved traveling. When the weekend rolled around, they would pull out the atlas pick a page and go. They enjoyed traveling, exploring the country side but most of all they enjoyed being together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but he is with Pearl now. "Together at Last". Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 7456 Manchester Rd., Maplewood MO. Service immediately following at 12:00pm. Interment Jefferson Barracks Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated.
