Dorothy E. Hartung, at the age of 84, passed away at her home in High Ridge on Sunday evening, November 16, 2025.
Dorothy was born on June 8, 1941, (along with her twin brother David) in St Thomas Missouri to Stephen and Clara (Luebbering) Lackman (both deceased).
She is proceeded in death by 9 of her 11 siblings: Rosemary, Norine, Joseph, Virginia, Frances, (her twin) David, Benard and the twins Juliet and Harriet.
She is survived by her sister Sr. Cecilia and brother Paul.
She was a homemaker and was employed as a custodian for 20 years at St Anthony's
Church and School. She was a Charter Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the St Anthony's Knights of Columbus Council #8588.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Charles C. Hartung (88) and 7 of her 8 children. Barbara Schuchardt (Ron - Deceased), Jeanette Hartung, Vincent Hartung (Deceased), Stephen (Lori) Hartung, Michael (Donna) Hartung, Rita Phillips, Kenneth (Tina) Hartung, Eileen (Mike) Crosby; 12 Grandchildren: Amanda (Jarred) Henderson, Kaitlyn Manzelli, Brandi (Creke) Shrader, Christi Hartung, Jared Hartung, Ethan Manzelli, Kenneth (Sally) Hartung Jr, Vincent Hartung, Emily (Zach) Dohack, Anna Crosby, Josey Crosby, Morgan Crosby; 3 Great Grandchildren: Brezdon Henderson, Kamaron Henderson, Lucas Hartung (on the way)
