Sunday, February 13, 1938 – Monday, January 23, 2023 Dorothea (aka Boots, Dottie) Soest (nee Lewis) Baptized into the Hope of Christ's Resurrection January 23, 2023 at her home in Arnold, MO. Loving daughter of the late Betty and Chester Lewis. She was predeceased in death by her husband Robert B. Soest of 64 years. She is survived by her loving children, Catherine Cox (Jeff), David Soest (Mae), Daniel Soest (Mary), and Richard Soest, Twelve grandchildren Christopher Cox, Stefanie Wiesehan (Adam), Veronica Glore, (Elliott), David Soest (Christi), John Soest (Cassie), Bentley Soest, Emery Soest, Ashly Soest, Lisa Rhoads (Carey), Anna Soest, Cody Soest (Hannah), Robert Soest, 13 Great-grand-children, Jeremiah Wiesehan, Betty Wiesehan, Lorili Glore, Madison Glore, Ryder Glore, Lincoln Henry, Layden Henry, Cooper Rhoads, Cole Rhoads, Levi Rhoads, Samuel Soest, Lydia Soest, Abigail Soest. Two sisters-in-law Ruth Chase and Marylou Schroeder and two brothers-in-law Edward Soest and Joseph Eckert. Predeceased by one brother Leland Lewis, three brothers-in-law Raymond Soest, Frank Chase, Jack Schroeder, three sisters-in-law, Roberta Soest and Virginia Eckert and Velma Soest. She is survived by many cousins, friends and extended family. Visitation: Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 p.m.at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home Fenton Chapel 777 Oakwood Dr, Fenton, MO 63026 Funeral Service: Friday, January 27, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Fenton, Missouri. Interment: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Saint Louis, Missouri on Tuesday, January 31, 2023
