Mrs. Donna Laster, age 88, passed away on March 2, 2025. Donna was born on July 2nd, 1936, in St. Clair, MO, to Ben Heidbrink and Carl Heidbrink (nee Barton). Donna married Paul Laster on July 14th, 1956. She was preceded in death by Ben Heidbrink (Father), Carl Heidbrink (Mother), Shaunda Stevens (Daughter), and three siblings. Paul & Donna were married for 68 years, and loved to travel. They went to Florida & Las Vegas more times than we can count. Every one of their grandkids got a trip to Disney World at least once! They went to Europe twice, and visited England, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Venice. Paris was one of Donna's favorite places. Donna was definitely a Car Girl. She'd often pull up with her new car ... some of favorites were her Jaguars, Mustang convertibles, and her little yellow MG convertible, just to name a few. But, Donna's favorite thing in life was being a "Granny"!!! Public Viewing will be held Monday, March 10th, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, Fenton. Services will be at 11:30 AM at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, followed with a procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial donations to Mercy Ships or your favorite charity.
