Loving mother of Joyce Highley, Laverne (Jerry) Signaigo, Kenneth Portell, Michael (Diane) Portell, Katie (Greg) Orphan, the late Dora Mae "Peachy Girl" Portell and Dennis Portell. Cherished grandmother of 17 great-grandmother of 30 and great-great-grandmother of one on the way. She is preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters. Our dear mother-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, cousin and friend. Visitation on Sunday June 4th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Dr., Fenton, MO. Service on Monday June 5th at 10:00am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Lunch will be served after the committal at Imperial Bowl.
