Mrs. Diane Scott (née Ignatowski), age 81, passed away on February 22, 2026.

Diane was born June 23rd, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Stanley and Bernice Ignatowski. She was a proud graduate of Normandy High School, class of 1962. On February 9th, 1963, Diane married David L. Scott Sr. at St. Rita's Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri.

She was a devout catholic, spending much of her life affiliated with St. Luke's the Evangelist in Richmond Heights. For over 25 years, she worked as a receptionist for Roman Jewelry and Tubular Steel. After retirement, she enjoyed spending her time surrounded by family and friends.

Diane was the loving wife of the late David L. Scott Sr., mother of Donna (Joe) Barbier, the late David L. Scott Jr., grandmother of Timothy (Megan) Scott, Megan (Kyle) Plonsky, Matthew (Patience) Barbier-Chrisler and great-grandmother of Landon and Collin Scott, and Alastair Kloda-Barbier. She was the sister of Don (Toni) Ignatowski, the late Stan and Rich Ignatowski and the late Joanne Pozniaki. Diane was a loving aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend to all.

Visitation for Mrs. Diane Scott will be held Sunday March 1st 2026, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Jay. B. Smith Funeral Home in Maplewood, Missouri. A memorial service at Jay B. Smith Chapel will follow on Monday March 2nd 2026 at 10:30 am, immediately followed by a procession to Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens.
