Debbra Kay Turnbow was born on June 27, 1960, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Carlis Mack Turnbow and Christine Jerri (Jackson) Turnbow. Debbra lived a life full of passion, creativity, and compassion. She loved the ocean, found peace in hiking, and expressed her artistry through sculpting and drawing. Her heart for animals was well known, and she leaves behind her beloved dapple dachshund, Luka. Debbra also carried a deep love for serving others-whether by bringing dinners to the homeless or working toward launching her prototype that she hoped would help people in need. Though she was not able to see that dream realized, we trust that God had other plans. Words cannot fully capture how truly beautiful she was-inside and out. May she rest in peace. Debbra was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents on both sides, and many other loved ones. She is survived by her mother, Christine Turnbow; sisters, Patricia Ann (Turnbow) Schantz of Shiloh, Illinois, and Robin Rachel Knehans of Arnold, Missouri; five nieces and nephews, Nicole DeFazio, Hannah Muelhauser, Gavin Guy, Dawson Schantz, and Ashton Schantz; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly. Her memory will live on in the love she gave and the lives she touched. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 4-8PM at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home in Fenton. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Messenger Church (602 Summit Rd; Fenton, Missouri). Burial will follow in Shepherd Hills Cemetery.
