Darlene (Dottie) Collette Imo, nee Baer, February 27, 1934- July 16, 2024 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Darlene Collette Imo, nee Baer, who left us on July 16, 2024, after a beautifully lived life. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. Predeceased by her husband John Imo and her second oldest son Gary Imo, she was the mother of four additional children: Mark Imo (Terri), Sherry Donahue (John), Donna Weber (John), and Lisa Imo. Dottie committed her life to her family, unselfishly caregiving her husband and youngest daughter after a series of family tragedies. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, Dominic Imo, Max Donahue, Tony Imo, Luke Donahue, Isabella Imo, Adam Weber and Josh Weber. And great Grandchildren, Corinne Jane Donahue, Ruth Irene Donahue, and Giovanni Anthony Imo. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home 777 Oakwood (at Hwy 141) Fenton, MO 63026 from 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Seven Holy Founders, in Affton, on Tuesday July 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
