Obituary

Danny Thomas Madden 12/08/1952 - 11/08/2024 71yrs As a young child, Danny and his family moved to St. Louis where he lived most of his life. Danny was a modern Renaissance man--a researcher and skilled in the fields of art, sciences, music, and more. He spoke about writing books. He played the harmonica and the guitar. He fashioned beautiful copper jewelry and wind chimes. Danny enjoyed the process of making cigar box guitars and made several of them. He was innovative with items he had on hand and remade them into functional pieces that would fill a current household need. He created ways to save his family money. He knew a little, or a lot, about almost anything. Danny especially liked collecting Volkswagens and making them drivable again. Danny profoundly loved all the members of his family. He consistently sacrificed himself and his resources for the needs of his children and grandchildren to show them his deep, unconditional love. Danny loved his wife, Carla, much more than he could easily express. He was a protector, provider, and leader, following in the steps of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Danny took every opportunity he could to tell those around him that they needed to find the Lord before it was too late. Funeral services are planned for Sunday, November 17, 2024 at J. B. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Drive, Fenton, MO 63026.
