Dale Akers of Florissant, MO passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the age of 87. Loving husband of 60 years to Peggy Akers (nee Rost); son of Lucas Carroll and Alma Michel Akers Loving father of Carol (Jeff) Hirsch and Daniel (Beth) Akers. Cherished grandfather of David Akers, Adam Hirsch, Rebecca Akers, Robert Akers and the late Kyle Hirsch. A private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dale's honor to the Siteman Cancer Center.
