Surrounded by her loving family, Connie went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 2, 2026.
Loving wife of 20 years to husband David; dearest Mom to Yvonne Merlotti, Christina Merlotti (husband James Watkins), and Anthony Merlotti (wife Samantha); beloved Grammy to Owen Petrey, Abi Merlotti, Rosa Watkins, Mia Merlotti, and soon to be Grammy to Jacob Merlotti; dear sister of Donald Hanson, Robert Hanson (wife Frances), and Yvonne Frazier (husband Dave); dear daughter of the late Donald and Nancy Hanson; dearest aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Connie loved nature, camping, and a strong passion for animals. Connie never met a stranger that she didn't call a friend, she also had an infectious smile and laugh.

Services: Visitation Wednesday September 9, 2026 9:00-10:00 am at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home 777 Oakwood (at 141) Fenton, Mo. 63026 with funeral service at 10:00am. Interment: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
