Clinton M. Jones, 42, of Fenton, MO, passed away unexpectedly on November 18, 2022. He was, and always will remain, a beloved father, husband, son, brother, nephew, uncle, and dedicated friend. Clint never knew a stranger. His genuine kindness towards everyone and upbeat energy was enchanting in a way that made you feel like the only person in the room; He loved so loud. Clint met his soulmate and best friend, Sara Stienkemeyer, in February 2005. They quickly formed a bond stronger than most will know in a lifetime. Clint and Sara were married in Sacramento, CA in 2008, and went on to bring three beautiful children into the world: Troy (13), Tori (9), and Taylor (7). Their family was his greatest accomplishment, of which there were so many. Clint was born on December 14, 1979 to Lt. Col Bobby L. Jones Jr. (Darla) and Angela C. Palensky in Myrtle Beach, SC. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Shelley L. Feazel (Preston) and Sara C. Paulino (Ramon). Clint's light will continue to shine on all those he knew and loved. He valued the many friends of life who had become family. Clint was an Honorary son to Bob and Debbie Smith, and lifelong brother to Joseph (deceased), Brent (Tricia), and Mark (Lauren). The Fultz, Volk, Fleming, Helgesson, Myers, Gan, Kohler, Perdun, Ferguson, Tenkman, Bracken, and Ruff families were deeply treasured by Clint, among a lifetime list of countless others; You know who you are. Clint dedicated his life to serving his community and his country, personifying the core values of the United States Air Force. Clint spent four years active duty stationed in San Antonio, TX. He proudly served in the Missouri Air National Guard in the 157th Air Operations Group as a MSgt in the Air Communications Flight at Jefferson Barracks. He continued his service as a Federal employee in civil service. Among the countless relationships Clint shared, he was a grandson to Judy Palensky, nephew to Michael (Wendy), Daniel (Lynn), David (Susie), and Robin Palensky, Shelia Green (Rick), Sharon Robertson, and Judith Adams (Bear), an adored Uncle to Simone, Camila, Elan, Austin, Andrew, Kieran, Jack, Alexis, Audrey, and Harper, a cousin to many, and cherished son and brother-in-law to Joanne Stienkemeyer, Herb Stienkemeyer, Kayla Harder (Rich), and Jenni Stienkemeyer (Kelly). Clint was preceded in death by Grandparents Leo Palensky, Catherine Erickson, Edna Jones, and Bobby Jones Sr., Aunts Mary VanSlyke and Teresa Palensky, and Uncle Bert (Butch) Robertson. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home at 777 Oakwood (at 141) in Fenton, MO 63026 from Noon to 4:00pm. All are welcome.
