Cletus Allen Williamson peacefully passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was the beloved father of Thomas (Beverley) Williamson, Rick (Lisa) Smith, Kathy (Sam) Alu, Christy Smith, Michael (Kris) Williamson, Kelly (Walt) Bauer, Greg Williamson, Joel (Debbie) Williamson, Traci Williamson Jones, and Staci (Jared) Kaiser. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, his brother, Bobby (Flora Mae) Williamson, and many other cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Preceding him in death were former wives, Gloria Williamson and Janet Smith, and his long-time companion, Erin Koehler. Also preceding him were his siblings Roy, Emmet, Willie Hugh, Lurlene, and Barney, as well as his beloved grandson, Jesse Lee. Cletus was born in Crenshaw County, Alabama, on January 10, 1928 and was a life-long fan of the Crimson Tide. He served in the U.S. Army in South Korea and moved to St. Louis after his honorable discharge. He worked for Singer Sewing Machine company for over 25 years and then owned and operated Arnold Sew & Vac for the next 30 plus years. His primary loves in life were family, friends, golfing, and a cold one on the 19th hole. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 11am to 3pm, with the funeral service starting at 3pm. Burial service will be at Pineview Cemetery in Pineview, Alabama, on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
