Charles R. Alexander July 24, 1927 - Nov. 9, 2014 Loving husband of Wakie Alexander (nee Runyon); Cherished father of Richard (Xia) Gannaway, Guy (Shelly) Gannaway, Nancy (Art) Ruprecht and Sara (Bob) Curtis; Devoted grandfather of 13, great grandfather of 2, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and dear teammate and friend to many; Charley co-founded A.I.S. (Agents Insurance Service) in 1962, and after fifty years in the insurance industry, retired in 2012. He was also the founder and past president of the MAVERICK'S. Charley was a scout master for more than 40 years at Shriners Hospital, where his genuine compassion and humor brought smiles and cheers to many, many children. Memorial Gathering Sun.
