Voth, Carolie F. (nee Feil) Age 73, of Brentwood, Mo, went home to be with our Lord on April 4, 2010. Born Feb. 9, 1937 in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late William Frentz Feil and Alice McCrea Feil. She was preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline F. Shaw and brother-in-law Donald P. Shaw; dear aunt to Kimberley S. (David) Sears, Jr. and Jennifer S. (Daniel) Cross; great-aunt to Andrew Cross, Sarah, Lauren and Emily Sears. Carolie graduated from Plainfield High School, attended Endicott Jr. College and graduated from the University of Michigan. She worked for a number of years as an executive secretary for McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, CA. Carolie met her husband Frank of 38 years at the Long Beach Tall Club and they were married on Aug. 14, 1971. Carolie and Frank moved Brentwood, Mo in 1975 to be near family. She loved people and made friends easily. Carolie often expressed her awe at God's marvelous creation. Carolie loved nature and all of God's creatures. She always enjoyed feeding the wild animals and birds during the winter months. Carolie loved the Lord and expressed her faith in Jesus. We, the family, believe she has gone home to be with the Lord. We know that one day we will be reunited with her in that land where there will be no parting. Visitation Tues. April 6, 2010 4-7pm followed by funeral service at 7pm at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home Maplewood Chapel 7456 Manchester. Burial will be at the Morningside Cemetery on Friday, April 9. Visitation at the Montezuma Funeral Home in Montezuma Kansas Thur.
