It is with profound sadness, and with faith in God's promise of eternal life, that we announce the passing of our dearly loved Bruce Bancroft, who peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord on the morning of 20 July 2026.

Bruce was the devoted and much-loved husband of the love of his life, Zena; a cherished father to Tina; a beloved brother to Jim Bancroft, Dick Bancroft, Bobby Links, and Susan Rodriguez; a proud grandfather to Scott and Lizzie; and a treasured great-grandfather to Aidan, Lily, and Ginny. He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Bruce brought joy, laughter, and kindness wherever he went. His warm heart, cheerful spirit, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone he met. A man of unwavering faith, Bruce dedicated many years to serving the Lord through mission work and lived a life that reflected God's love. He also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, a cheeky joke, good company, and settling into his favorite chair to watch a NASCAR race.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that Bruce is now at peace with his Saviour.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18

We are currently making arrangements for a memorial service to celebrate Bruce's life, and details will be shared in due course. We warmly invite all who knew and loved Bruce to join us in remembering his life, sharing cherished memories, and celebrating the incredible legacy he leaves behind.
