Brigitte "Bridget" A. McGrath 44, passed away suddenly Monday, August 15, 2022. Bridget daughter of the late Francis "Frank" McGrath and mother Jacalyn Weir Swoboda was born on Monday, January 2, 1978. In her childhood she was a very active and loved playing sports, especially girl's softball. As she got older she enjoyed exercise classes and then she started teaching classes. Her passion was teaching the Silver Sneakers classes. She enjoyed being with the older adults as they loved her and her drive teaching the classes. She also volunteered at St. Peter and Paul cutting the hair of the homeless who came in for services. Among her survivors are her two children, Zackary Hartman and Brody Hartman of St. Louis, MO., sister Tracy McGrath of St. Louis, MO., niece Rory McGrath of St. Louis, MO., grandson Brysen Finley, and mother Jackie Weir Swoboda and husband Tom Swoboda of Marthasville, MO.
