Obituary

Brian Vickers passed away unexpectedly on December 13,2025. Brian is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Virginia Vickers and his father, Charlie Vickers.

Loving father of Rory and Erik Vickers and cherished Grandfather of Landyn and McKinley Vickers.

Dear Brother of Sue Starr, Nancy Zertan, Michael Vickers and Carol Vickers.

Brian was born in Kansas on January 11, 1960. He moved to St. Louis when he was a young adult and enlisted in the Military. Brian was an expert Marksman before he was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. He later joined the St. Louis Police Department, he retired after 16 years on the force and later moved on to government contracting, where he received presidential recognition for his work.

Brian was a proud owner of Victory Tactical, a business he started that taught tactical training and gun safety, which received high praise from his students.

Not only did he excel in his career path, he was very athletic participating in several marathons, triathlons, and was an avid cyclist.

He was always ingrained in his children's lives, learning how to skate to play hockey with his son Rory and investing time in the arts to support Erik. He loved being around his children and was ecstatic to teach them everything he knew, from fishing, hunting, and basic survival skills. Nothing made Brian happier than becoming a grandfather to two beautiful grand-babies, gushing over his granddaughter Landyn and celebrating "the Vickers name lives on" with his grandson McKinley.

So take your place of honor among those who have gone before you and know you will be remembered for now and evermore.
