Bret Caton Hohenstreet February 19, 1958 through September 1, 2023 Following a long, hard fought battle (over six years and a half years) against cancer, Bret left this earthly realm to be with Our Savior. Though he had some struggles in life, he was a true believer who prayed for and received grace, forgiveness and more time with his family. He was a true craftsman and carpenter and devoted friend to his dogs, Tony and Ryder. He cared deeply for his mom, and his last moments were spent being concerned for her well -being. Bret is survived by his mother, Ann Wesemann, his children Rachel (Michael) Sadler and Michael (Tanika) Hohenstreet, his grandson Cope Sadler, his siblings Todd (Cindy) Hohenstreet and Sara (Mike) Roman and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Neil Hohenstreet and brother Brian Hohenstreet. Bret's ashes will be scattered near the Meramec River in St. Louis and on family property in McAlester, OK.
