In Loving Memory of Billy Joe Bratcher

Billy Joe Bratcher passed away on October 14, 2026. A beloved father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and uncle, Billy leaves behind a legacy of generosity, love, and strength.

A retired Army veteran, Billy served his country with pride and enjoyed sharing stories about his time in the military. He loved gardening and spending time with his family, finding happiness in growing things and being with the people he loved.

Above all, Billy will be remembered as a giver. He had a generous heart and a smile that remained even through life's hardest times. His kindness, stories, and steady smile will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by those who knew him.

A visitation will be held on October 28, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at JB Smith Funeral Home, 7456 Manchester Road, St. Louis, MO 63143.

Following the visitation, Billy will be laid to rest at 11:30 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to gather afterward for a celebration of life from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 1717 S. Big Bend Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63117, to share memories and honor his life.

His giving heart and enduring smile will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
