Betty Lucille Green Wagner, 72, of Fenton, MO, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 201, She was born April 8, 1941 in Bell, CA . She married Jerry Dale Wagner Aug. 4, 1962 in Las Vegas, NV. They lived together in Norwalk, CA before relocating to Fenton, MO after retirement. She was known for her up beat attitude and knowing no stranger. She made friends wherever she went, she loved to talk to everyone she ran into. She openly loved people and would frequently 'adopt' a friend into her family. She loved her "soaps" and could frequently be seen creating beautiful handmade cards with her massive rubber stamp collection while watching Days of Our Lives or General Hospital. She had a way with words, and her grandchildren have joked about writing a book of all her catch phrases and anecdotes. Betty is survived by her husband, Jerry Dale Wagner of Fenton, MO; her two sons, Michael Lee Wagner (Diana Rouwenhorst) of Hemet CA; and Steven Mitchell Wagner of Fenton, MO; her two grandchildren, Rhiannon Lorraine Wagner Dench (Kevin) of Rexburg, ID; and Nathaniel Lawrence Wagner (Tiffanie) of Houston, TX; her great-grand child Rhiella Rose Dench of Rexburg, ID; and countless friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 5, 2013 10:00 am Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Dr. Fenton, MO Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Humane Society.
