Bette J. (Barthel) Thies of Dellwood, born April 26, 1935, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the age of 83. Loving wife of the late William A. Thies, dear mother of Richard (Sally) Thies and Cindy (Chuck) Springli, dear grandma of Dustin, Ryan, Melissa and Kyle Thies; and Eric (Chelsea) and Jill Springli; our dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Funeral Service will be Sunday, March 31, 3:30 pm at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 1425 Stein (West Florissant and Stein) Ferguson, MO 63135. Visitation will be Sunday, March 31, 1:00-3:30 pm at St. Peter's United Church of Christ. Private Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 3, 9:15 am.
