It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Barbara June (Williams) Dunphy. She peacefully died January 8, 2025, three days after her 90th birthday. She embodied the very best qualities any one person could strive for: unconditional love, unwavering support, strength, compassion, generosity, and kindness. She loved her family, gardening, the Cardinals baseball, Girl Scouts, Scrabble, puzzles, crosswords, traveling, the beach, reading, watching Wheel of Fortune and NCIS. She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Larry Dunphy, her mother and father, Myrtle and Frank Williams, and her beloved sister and brother, Ruth Overton and Jim Williams. We know in our hearts they were all waiting for her in Heaven with open arms and tears in their eyes because she was so loved. She leaves behind her two daughters, Sherry Jennings and Karen Dunphy; her grandchildren, Jacy Bailey (Jared), Cristin Samoil (Ian), and Bryce Dunphy; her great-grandchildren, Nash Bailey, August Samoil, Knox Bailey, and Everette Samoil; and her little dog, Lacey. Her passing will leave a huge void we know we will never be able to fill, but we also know she lives on inside of each of us forever and through generations to come.
