Anthony "Joe" Joseph Kanaday Sr.,59 Went home to be with the Lord Dear son of the late Joseph F. and Ethel (Lois) Kanaday Loving father of Anthony Joseph Kanaday Jr. Dear brother of Michael Sallee, Sheila (Tony) Wright, Steve Kanaday, Cyndi (Steve Bates) Kanaday, The late Wally (Margaret) Kanaday, Scott Kanaday and special friend of Jean Diekemper Joe was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Joe never met a stranger. He loved to talk and get to know people. He also loved the outdoors, camping and fishing. Joe is also survived by his two puppies that he loved to spoil, Buster and Spunky, and their sister, Polly the chameleon. Joe was employed at the Mansion House Apartments in downtown St. Louis as an in-house painter. Most importantly, Joe loved his family and Jesus Christ, his Savior. Joe always looked for opportunities to share Jesus and the salvation we have in Christ. Because of Joe's faith, he is now in heaven rejoicing and praising the Lord.
