Ann went peacefully to her heavenly home surrounded by her loved ones on January 9, 2021. Ann was one of six children and was born on April 15, 1938 to proud parents Raymond and Bernice Bryant. She was lovingly referred to as Anna Mae, Ann, Annie, Sweetheart, Mom, Nana, and Aunt Ann. In her early years Ann was a waitress at Blue Moon Cafe and White Castle. In later years she held the title of custodial store room clerk at University of Missouri St. Louis where she retired in 1997. She then started the best job ever as caregiver to her granddaughter. Ann met Phil in 1964 and after one short month they were married. He was obviously the love of her life because they celebrated 56 years of marriage last October. Ann loved her role as mom to Kevin (Dawn) Rocco and Cheryl (George) Forir but most of all she loved being Nana to Bradley, Rachel, and Matthew. Ann will be remembered for her caring attitude, her compassion for others, her ability to do anything she set her mind to and being a loyal friend. She is known for perfect lines in freshly vacuumed carpet, homemade Easter bunny cakes, immaculately folded clothes, and slipping money into unsuspecting hands. You could also often hear her saying "don't get rid of that because it might be worth something someday". Finally, the special goodbye she and Rachel shared. "Love you BEST…..Love you MOST…..I just Love you to PIECES" In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association.
