Albert Fred Vendt; August 9, 2011; born November 11, 1922 at home in the city of St. Louis, Missouri to George Albert Vendt and Frieda Helen Bastan. He served in World War II as a merchant marine. On May 19, 1945 he married Anna Marie Fredrickson here in St. Louis. Survivors include his two sons, Stephen (Beverly) and Bruce (Barbara) all of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Daniel of Los Angeles, California, Paul of Fort Stewart, Georgia, Amanda of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Krissy of St. Louis; great grandchildren, Victoria and Aaron Bowman of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a brother Lionel (Ruth) of Reed Springs, Missouri.
