Adela Martha (nee Gerik) Wood, age 85, of Creve Coeur, Mo., died Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Decedent's Residence in Creve Coeur, Mo. . She was the daughter of the late William Gerik and the late Ludmila (Janecka) Gerik. She is also survived by her One Daughter, Daughter-Ladonna (Wood) Ashby of San Francisco, Calif. Two Sons, Son-Richard Wood of Creve Coeur, Mo. Son-Ray Wood of St. Louis, Mo. One Brother, Brother-Arnold Gerik of St. Louis, Mo. Arrangements are being handled by Jay B. Smith Funeral Home Maplewood Chapel, 7456 Manchester, Maplewood, Mo.. Funeral service will be Private. Interment will be at National Cemetery Jefferson Barracks, Mo.
