Margaret Alice Bryant

July 23, 1943 - May 9, 2022

Margaret Alice Bryant (Butler), 78, peacefully passed away Monday, May 9th, 2022 at Village Manor in Abilene, KS. She was also being cared for by the Dickinson County Hospice Team. She was born July 23rd, 1943 in Topeka, KS, daughter of Ivan Jean and Marion Butler (Akers). Margaret grew up in Topeka, KS, where she graduated from Topeka High School in 1961. Her favorite pastimes were bowling and sewing quilts for family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Bryant, and sister Deloris Malik (Butler). She is survived by her sister Louise (Lester) Fisher, brother George (Mary Ruth) Butler, children Pam Howard, Todd Howard, Danielle (David) Weber, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9am - 11:45 am May 17th, 2022 at Jay B. Smith Funeral Home, Maplewood Location, 7456 Manchester, St. Louis, MO 63143. There will be a service starting at 11:45am. Directly following Margaret will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, MO 63125. Margaret will be dearly missed by her family and friends and will forever live in our memories as the strong and charismatic lady that she was.
