Juanita Eva Davis Fluhart of Eureka, MO, previously of Florissant, MO, entered her heavenly home on August 23, 2019. Born in Longmont, CO on August 13, 1923 she had recently celebrated her 96th birthday. Much loved mother of Darryl (Carol) Fluhart, Rhonda (Fran) Hoard, and Renee Sonderegger. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Charles Fluhart, her parents, Clyde and Eula Davis and her sister, Lorene Nelson. Cherished grandmother of the late Dave (Tara) Hoard, Alicia (Michael) Snyder, Leanna (Dave) Johnson, Amy (Bryan) Kozinski, Nathan Sonderegger, Ethan (Keeli) Fluhart, Julie (Michael) Wall, Kevin (Zihan) Sonderegger, Emily Fluhart and Ellen (Scott Zorumski) Sonderegger. She was so very proud of her 23 great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Khale, Jesse, Sammy, Luke, Angela, Madison, Andrew, Jacob, Isaac, Kaden, Caleb, Sadie, Jordan, Kylie, Seth, Ryan, Asher, Hannah, Jackson, James, Joanie, and Jonas. Very special mother-in-law, grandmother-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin, and devoted friend of many. She attended Emmaus Bible Chapel for approximately 40 years, was a devoted homemaker, supported and served Child Evangelism Fellowship and worked as doctors' receptionist. She loved interacting with people and found her greatest enjoyment as a checker at Kroger, her favorite job for many years. What she loved most was taking every opportunity she had to share what Jesus meant to her and to introduce others to Him. She enjoyed serving others in countless ways. She kept a record of birthdays, probably knowing over 200 by heart. In meeting someone new she would often ask their birthday then recall the name of someone else who shared the same birthdate. Her family and friends looked forward to receiving her stealth birthday phone call from the singing hamster. She had a great sense of humor and met each day with optimism and gratitude. Visitation will be held at Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church, 9124 Sappington Rd., St. Louis, MO 63126 on Friday, August 30, at 9 am. Service will follow at 11 am. Interment at J. B. National Cemetery following service. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Wycliffe Bible Translators.
